My cousin, Pierre, and his wife, Sherri, recently moved to their dream home in the country. Their pretty house, with its big old-fashioned porch, is surrounded by all of Mother Nature’s finest gifts. If it sounds idyllic, that’s because it really is. The noise and smells of the city have been replaced with the twitter of birds and the fresh clean scent of the woodlands.
I wanted to congratulate them in my own paper-crafting way, so I created this special card. It is a 6″x6″ easel card. I coloured it with my Copic markers and did some fussy cutting to pop up some parts of the house, the railing, the bushes and even the little flower box. I think it gives it a really cool 3-D effect. A little wooden fence completed the look. I hope it inspires you to create a card for someone special in your life.
Here is the card when it’s open in the easel format. The fence keeps it standing.
That’s it for today. Thanks for dropping in! I hope will will stop by, again, soon.
Happy crafting, happy everything!
