ATCs for All!

Gloria 2010I’m back! Whew! The past two months have been a whirlwind. We put our house on the market on December 7 and had three competing offers on December 9. It sold above asking price and we got the keys to our new house on January 3. How’s that for a quick move?

I finally got my craft studio unpacked and organized and today, and for the first time since December 11, I was able cut and paste and stamp, while listening to my favourite tunes!

My first crafting project was to create ATCs–artist trading cards–for a new swap club that  I joined. It’s called, “ATCs for All.” Check it out, there’s lots of great swaps going on all the time. This particular swap is called, “Owls Again.” Our challenge was to draw or paint owls on ATC cards, which are 2.5″ x 3.5″ in size. As you can see from the photos, I am not an artist, just a papercrafter with guts. Anyway, my creations are called “Dottie Owl.” Each one is different, quirky and fun. I sure hope my ATC partners like them.

One of my owls will be going to Georgia, one to Virginia and one to the Netherlands. I also made one as a “thank you” for our swap host and one for my album. Here they are…let me know what you think!

  1. Hi, Judy,

Anytime you would like to swap ATC’s with me, just let me know. We could do a one-on-one!! Most of the time, I use rubber or digital stamps to make my ATC’s. Then, I colour them with my Copic Markers, add sparkles, buttons, whatever…it’s fun to play like a kid, again!!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment.

  2. Great job!…I’m not an artist either and don’t have the guts or creativity you have, but would someday like to try atcs
