The cutest baby ballerina, ever!

Hi, folks,

I’m back with a really short post. I just want to show you this cute little baby ballerina card. The digi, called “Tutu Sweet,” is by Meljen’s Designs. Isn’t she adorable?

I coloured her with my Copic markers and then added glitter glue to give her tutu some pizzazz. I created the lacy border by punching a strip of paper on both sides with my new Martha Stewart punch. Little Tutu Baby is sitting in a scalloped circle that I created with my Spellbinders Nestabilities and my Cuttlebug die cutting machine.

A matching ribbon, tied up in a bow, added the final sweet touch to this simple card. I love this image so much that I’m going to make a few more in various colours, such as pink, lavender, yellow and red.

Before I close, I must share my old joke with you. From the time I was about 10 years old, right through to my mid twenties, I was involved with ballet. Because of all the classes and practices, I was toned and slender and able to slip easily into a tutu. Today, four decades later, I’m not so slender and toned, but I still love to dance around my living room. Only now that my tutu doesn’t fit, I have to wear a four-four!! LOL!!
