A birthday card for my musical cousin!
My very talented cousin, Pierre, just celebrated his 60th birthday. He’s an accomplished musician and singer…so, I just HAD to make him guitar card.
The guitar shape comes from my Silhouette Studio library (cut out on my Silhouette Cameo. I lifted the card up with black foam dots to add dimension.
To add a touch of realism, I used Perfect Pearls in a silver tone to add shine and dimension to the guitar pegs and the screws that hold the strings at the head of the guitar. (Sorry for the blurry photo).
I used black sparkle glue to add some pizzazz to the music notes. The strings, which look like they are about to jump off the card, were drawn on with a white gel pen.
A happy birthday note on the inside and, Bob’s your uncle!
Just for fun, on the back…
And, as always, a custom envelope…which I forgot to take a photo of.
Anyway, I hope this inspired you to make a card for someone special in your life.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will drop in again, soon. Until next time, please don’t run with scissors!! LOL!
