The Crafter’s Cafe Challenge #2

Welcome back to the Crafter’s Cafe Challenge #2: Ribbons and/or Lace

There’s always something fun going on at The Crafter’s Cafe.

This month, the theme is is to use ribbons and/or lace on your project.

I fell in love with this adorable ladybug digi called, “Love You Lara,” by Digital Delights, partly because she’s just so darn cute and partly because my nickname is Globug. I coloured her with my Copics, added stitching to the heart box with my white gel pen and embellished her with some sparkle and ribbon. As I have been doing with all my cards this year, I finished the two inside panels and the back with the same designer paper. The sentiment, “I totally love you,” is generic enough to use for Valentine’s Day or any time you just want to say, “I love you.”

The Crafter’s Cafe Challenge #2–Ribbons and/or Lace

Angel Donita: Digi by Digital Delights by Louby Lou

There’s always something fun going on at The Crafter’s Cafe.

Welcome back to the Crafter’s Cafe Challenge.

This month, the theme is is to use ribbons and/or lace on your project.

I created this card in pastels, using lace, flowers and heavenly soft feathers. I coloured Angel Donita with my Copic markers, added a little dazzle to her wings and perched her sweetly on the lace border.

Holding to my crafter’s resolution for 2012, I have finished all four sides of my card. Here’s the inside…

I would like to thank Digital Delights by Louby Lou for sponsoring this month’s challenge and providing this sweet digi.
