Clear the runway!
This cute little bear pilot is coming in for a landing! This adorable digi was provided to us for CDACPC6 by Ellephantastic. I coloured his plane using my brightest Copic markers and added the background trees designed by Digis by Phooka. The trees and snow-covered ground are sparkling, even though it doesn’t show up here.

It’s back to school…for the big kids!
With autumn upon us and children headed back to the classrooms, the theme for the Crafters Digital Arts Center (CDAC) Progressive Freebie Challenge #2 is, appropriately, Back to School.
This cute image was provided to us for this challenge by Ellephantastic. Isn’t it adorable? We’ve all seen this scene, before–preschoolers waving to their big brothers and sisters as the school bus whisks them away. “Next year, Sweetie,” says Mom, “when you’re a big boy.”
Well, my family is way past the first-day-of-school stage. My children are grown and my grandchildren are heading to college next year. But I do have sweet memories of my kids, Angie and Neil, when they were oh-so-little, climbing onto the school bus on that sunny September morning. I remember how cute they looked in their new school clothes, Angie with her pretty blond pigtails and Neil with his long blond silky bangs. I wouldn’t trade that memory for all the chocolate on the planet!
