Hang in there, Sweet Pea!

Hang in there, Sweet Pea!

Holding on for dear life!

Little Sweet Pea is holding on for dear life! Isn’t that just what we all have to do at one time or another?

This adorable digi was provided by Just Some Lines for the Crafter’s Digital Art Center (CDAC) Progressive Freebie Challenge  #9 (cdacpc9).

I coloured the image with my Copic markers, of course! I created the stars and the large green scalloped circle with

my Silhouette Cameo. I made the white scalloped circle with my Cuttlebug, by first cutting it out and then running it through with the embossing mat to add that extra touch. I edged it in yellow with a Copic Marker.

My goal this year is to pay more attention to the inside and back cover of my greeting cards, so this Sweet Pea card got the royal treatment. I hope you like it!

P.S. The CDACPC Challenge is open until January 14, 2012, so you still have time to take part. Just head on over to CDAC!

Happy New Year, everyone!

Three Birds in Winter…could they BE any cuter?

And this is my take on MMSC#134. These adorable little birds are by TLC Creations. Click on this image to see the embellishments in detail. By the way, I used sparkly nail polish over the snow to give it a twinkle.

If you have not yet been introduced to the wonderful artwork of Jehanne of Just Some Lines . . . well, it’s high time you were!

Here is her absolutely adorable Three Birds in Winter. I loved colouring them and featuring them on this cute Christmas card, which I made for Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #134.

Jehanne’s style is so free-flowing and relaxed that it just makes me want to spend a lazy afternoon in my studio with a pile of her images and my Copic markers.

You MUST pop into Just Some Lines and see the entire collection for yourself!
