Crafter’s Digital Art Center Progessive Challenge #5-Card #5

Gobble…gobble…gobblegobblegobble…gobble

Let’s give thanks for the turkey!

Don’t you just love this turkey by Sew Many Cards? This is definitely my favourite card of the CDACPC #5.

I collected a bunch of dried grass from the field along the path in our neighbourhood park– my husband just shook his head and laughed, but I knew I’d find a use for it. Next, I added some bits and pieces from my big bag of potpourri. I finished it off with a metal charm bearing the word “Blessed.” A

little piece of frayed rope through the charm makes it looks as though Mother Nature, herself, added the embellishments!

I coloured Mr. Turkey with my Copic markers, as always. I added light and detail to him with a white gel pen. I learned this trick by studying the colouring technique of a super-talented woman, JenLee. Jen is on the CDACPC Design Team.

Okay, so that’s it for CDACPC #5. On November 1, CDACPC #6 begins. It is the last leg of this six-part challenge. Whew, when it’s over, we will have made 31 cards for the Crafter’s Digital Art Centre Progressive Challenge. On November 15, we will find out who the winner is–and that person will receive a set of Copic Markers!! Woohoo!

Jeepers, creepers!

Bailey in Witch Hat-Card#5 for CDACPC#4

Bailey, the cutest little witch, ever!

This cute little Teddy bear is looking cuter than ever in his witch’s hat. He’s the fifth image we had to work with for CDACPC#4. Thank, so much, to Sew Many Cards Digital Stamps for providing us with this adorable little guy!

If you like my take on Bailey, please leave me a comment–as always, it will make my day!!!
