Let’s give thanks for the turkey!
I collected a bunch of dried grass from the field along the path in our neighbourhood park– my husband just shook his head and laughed, but I knew I’d find a use for it. Next, I added some bits and pieces from my big bag of potpourri. I finished it off with a metal charm bearing the word “Blessed.” A
little piece of frayed rope through the charm makes it looks as though Mother Nature, herself, added the embellishments!
I coloured Mr. Turkey with my Copic markers, as always. I added light and detail to him with a white gel pen. I learned this trick by studying the colouring technique of a super-talented woman, JenLee. Jen is on the CDACPC Design Team.
Okay, so that’s it for CDACPC #5. On November 1, CDACPC #6 begins. It is the last leg of this six-part challenge. Whew, when it’s over, we will have made 31 cards for the Crafter’s Digital Art Centre Progressive Challenge. On November 15, we will find out who the winner is–and that person will receive a set of Copic Markers!! Woohoo!
